New Nepal Map 2020

Nepal passed amendment bill including indian areas of limpiyadhura, lipulekh and kalapani in the updated map. Nepal's foreign minister pradeep gyawali has said nepal's new map would be permanent and that there is no room for change. Sending the map to un is unlikely to help nepal's cause though as the organisation generally keeps off such territorial claims in the form of maps presented by countries.

Nepal's parliament is expected this week to formally approve a revised map of the country, including three areas it disputes with its giant neighbour india. A cabinet meeting on monday decided to publish a new map that includes lipu lekh and zones in kalapani and limpiyadhura, law minister shiva maya tumbahangphe told afp. Nepal’s lower house of parliament on saturday passed an amendment to update the country’s map including indian areas of limpiyadhura, lipulekh, and kalapani in the constitution of the country.

The nepali congress had, while backing the amendment, insisted on foreign secretary.
